IS THERE A DISCOUNT ON SHIPPING?
During our clearance sale, there is no discount on shipping. Therefore, it makes sense to order as many brushes as you need as each order will be subject to shipping costs (usually set by Shopify at £5.99 for brushes).
WHEN DID THE CLEARANCE PRICES COME INTO EFFECT?
The latest clearance prices came into affect on 13th March 2026.
WHY ARE THERE NO LONGER ANY BRUSH COLLECTIONS?
Prices during the Clearance Sale are as low as they can go and as individual brushes become unavailable, offering collections gets far more difficult.
DO YOU OFFER A DISCOUNT FOR PURCHASING IN BULK?
Not any longer. Current pricing is as low as it gets and stock numbers are becoming low. If you want a number of brushes or tripods etc., please order as many as the system will allow before they're gone. Because when they've gone, they're gone.
WHAT IS THE SUGGESTED IN-SALON RETAILING PRICE?
We no longer have suggested in-salon retail pricing. However, as a guide, our usual RRP was £52.95 prior to the clearance sale.
CAN I BUY/PICKUP A BRUSH IN PERSON?
ERGONOMICS UNITED does not have a physical shop. However, you can contact our team and we'll help in finding the nearest location to you that carries our products for in-person purchase and pick up. As an alternative, you can also buy directly from us online using this website, and we'll deliver it directly to you.

WHAT IS THE SUGGESTED MAX HEAT RESISTANCE FOR THE ERGO HOT MAT?
The suggested maximum heat exposure for the ERGO Hot Mat is 316 °C. However, please note that all Hot Mats are now sold.
CAN I STILL ORDER A 'FULL CASE' OF BRUSHES'?
A full case is a single brush purchased in 12-unit increments. Yes, subject to availability, you can order a case, though prices remain the same as those listed in the Clearance Sale.
ARE ANY COLLECTIONS AVAILABLE?
Unfortunately, as this is a Clearance Sale, no collections are available.
WHAT IS THE COMPOSITION OF THE BRISTLES?
All ERGO brush bristles are made from Nylon infused with Tourmaline and Carbon for shine, heat resistance and a frizz-free finish.
ARE THE PADDLE BRUSHES SUITABLE FOR DETANGLING WET HAIR?
Absolutely! All ERGO paddle brushes are designed to detangle wet hair when using the brush vertically, aligning the pins in a row and for gripping the hair during a blow-dry when using the brush horizontally, which will create tension.
CAN I SUBMERGE MY BRUSH IN DISINFECTANT?
The recommended cleaning instructions for an ERGO paddle brush is to soak your brush in warm soapy water to dislodge any product build-up. Wipe your brush down and proceed with disinfection procedures.
HOW DO I REMOVE EXCESS WATER FROM THE INTERIOR OF MY BRUSH PAD AFTER CLEANING?
ERGO paddle brushes come uniquely designed with a drain hole at the end of the brush. Simply place your paddle brush in an upright position with your handle pointed upward. Leave your brush in this position for 60-90 seconds and your paddle brush will be free of any excess water remaining within the brush pad.
ARE YOUR PADDLE BRUSHES RECOMMENDED FOR BLOW DRYING?
Our uniquely designed ERGO Classic paddle brush bristles are heat resistant up to 260C degrees and great for gripping or flat wrapping the hair for a smooth, frizz-free finish.
WHAT ARE YOUR BRISTLES MADE FROM?
All ERGO brush bristles are made from Nylon, infused with Tourmaline and Carbon for shine, heat resistance and a frizz-free finish.
HOW MUCH HEAT CAN YOUR BRISTLES WITHSTAND?
All ERGO Classic round brush bristles have a recommended maximum heat use of 260C and Super Gentle 232C. Please note, hair should not be exposed to these temperatures for an extended period of time, as it can contribute to damage and colour fade.
WHAT IS THE BARREL OF THE ROUND BRUSH MADE FROM?
All ERGO round brush barrels are made from an aluminum barrel that is double-coated with a ceramic finish for even heat distribution throughout the barrel to ensure no one section of the barrel overheats causing damage to the hair.
WHAT IS THE BRUSH HANDLE MADE FROM?
All ERGO round brush handles are made from a textured silicone material. This allows the brush to be handled with ease and comfort while having wet or product-covered hands. Some say the textured silicone feels like a well-deserved hand massage while styling!
ARE ALL THE ROUND BRUSHES THE SAME LENGTH?
All ERGO round brushes are the same length and only vary in the size of the barrel diameter. ERGO Classic Round brushes come in 5 different diameters; ER25, ER33, ER43, ER53 and ER65, whereas the Super Gentle brushes come in 4 different diameters; ERG33, ERG43, ERG53 and ERG65.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY ROUND BRUSH?
The recommended cleaning instructions for an ERGO round brush is to warm the bristles for a moment or two, take a damp cloth to your brush by the barrel, squeezing, pulling and rotating until the hair is removed from the bristles. Then soak your brush in warm soapy water to dislodge any product build-up. Wipe your brush down and proceed with recommended disinfection procedures. Check out YouTube videos that show this process. You'll be amazed how quick and easy it is.
Please Note - NEVER scrape the bristles or barrel with a comb or other sharp object as this can cause damage and is completely unnecessary.
ARE YOUR ROUND BRUSHES FOR ALL HAIR TYPES?
All ERGO brushes are recommended for use on all hair types. However, Classic Brushes are best on medium and course hair and Super Gentle are designed specifically for fine hair, sensitive scalps, recently coloured hair and hair extensions.
WARRANTY
IS THERE A WARRANTY ON YOUR BRUSHES?
Yes. ERGO UK guarantees that your brush is free from defects in materials and workmanship. Each ERGO brush has a 1 year guarantee from the purchase date. This means that it is warranted against manufacturer's defects. This excludes regular Wear and Tear (ie: worn bristles over time), Abuse (ie: overheating bristles or brush) and Physical Trauma (ie: breakage or damage not due to defect). We will replace any brush should it fail under normal use within the 1 year purchase timeframe. ERGO UK does not offer its warranty on any product purchased anywhere other than direct from us, or an authorised-by-us source such as an authorised salon, authorised web reseller, or advanced academy. Please note that where a replacement brush has been issued, that replacement may not be covered under warranty. If in doubt, ask. We're always here for you.
In practice, cared-for ERGO brushes are lasting many years across the USA without any issues.
DOES ERGO ACCEPT REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES?
Yes. We offer a 7 day no questions asked return policy on your unused and perfectly boxed items. The customer must post back the items at their own expense. A full refund will take place minus any postal charges incurred once the item or items are safely received. Please refer to our Returns Policy for further details.
